Part Time Medical Receptionist

Edgemont Naturopathic Clinic is seeking a Part Time Medical Receptionist. We are looking for an organized, professional and reliable employee with a minimum of 1 year experience in a medical setting. The ideal candidate must be comfortable in a position that is fast paced and involves a lot of communication with patients fielding questions, dealing with insurance inquiries, and explaining services. Must have strong administrative skills and be comfortable with computer work.

Responsibilities:

- opening and closing procedures

- direct billing and credit card payments

- data entry, including ensuring forms are correctly completed

- cleaning the room in between patients

- preparing samples to be shipped or picked up by LifeLabs

- optimizing scheduling for practitioners so that the shift runs smoothly

- cleaning (end of day) and organizing as required

Job type - Part Time, 24 hours per week. Includes extended health benefits after probationary period.
