We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator. As one of the first point of contact with our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in our plastic surgery clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in front desk administration, strong communication skills, and proficiency in medical record software.
Responsibilities
· Assist in consultations as needed
· Assist on follow up days, ensure patient flow into and out of rooms
· Manage and enter patient photographs, data and measurements
· Review new patient intake forms and enter data
- Discuss with Care Coordinator/surgeon as needed
· Complete surgical booking packages and ensure accuracy
· Transmit surgical needs to surgical team

· Communicate pre-op needs to patient from nursing/anesthesia
· Manage and track, to ensure results obtained and reviewed (maintain log)

· Collect monthly data/reports on surgeon volume, cases per surgeon
· Transmit photos and online reviews to web manager (ryan)
· Schedule post-operative appointments
· Turn over exam rooms
- Clean after each patient
- Provide clean robe/gown
- Replace and organize implant sizers
· Ensure rooms cleaned and lights out at end of day
· Step in on consultations as needed, as Care Coordinator
· Manage updates/templates for EMR
· Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR) system
· Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
Experience
- Previous experience in sales
- Strong knowledge of general office procedures and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
