Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Coordinator & Accounting Support to join our clients team for a permanent role in Guelph, ON. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in payroll processing, statutory remittances, and supporting various accounting functions. The salary for this position is $55k-$60k per annum.
Pay rate: $55k-$60k/year.
Location: Guelph, ON
Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities: As a Payroll Coordinator & Accounting Support, you will:
Maintain and process payroll for hourly and salary employees.
Handle payroll statutory remittances (Receiver General, EHT, WSIB, RSP, etc.).
Manage headcount, employee spreadsheets, and supporting schedules.
Track employee benefits, vacation pay, and time off.
Reconcile G/L accounts related to employee compensation.
Process management expenses, credit card transactions, and other employee expenses.
Handle accounts payable tasks, including matching invoices and processing payments.
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting functions as directed by the controller.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:
University or College degree/diploma.
Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certificate (an asset).
Previous Payroll/Accounting experience.
Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
ERP experience preferred, but not required.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
