Prep Cook - Summer Seasonal

While working alongside a friendly and knowledgeable team, you can take the time to enjoy mountain life right at your fingertips. The Prep Cook-Dishwasher supports the operations of the culinary team by assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, health and safety, sanitation, and food storage. The environment is bustling with three unique kitchens within the property providing complete food and beverage services to our local, hotel and business guests. This role offers every opportunity to begin developing a career in the culinary arts, opening opportunities for advancement internally and externally throughout the Tourism / Hospitality industry. Compensation Information:

$18.75 per hour

Physical Requirement:

Physical Class: Heavy (H) Work activities involve handling loads more than 20 kg

Accountabilities

• Responsible for washing and storage of all F&B service ware and utensils
• Participates in food preparation and maintenance of storage areas
• Responsible for the delivery of culinary and kitchen supplies
• Assists in the rotation for food items and supplies
• Ensures the highest standards of sanitation are met throughout the kitchen by following departmental standards

Ideal Candidate

• Works effectively within a team and recognize when to provide support to other kitchen team members
• Is self-disciplined and motivated
• Self-starts on tasks and can respond to varying business volumes as they relate to impacts on the kitchen
• Is physically capable of working in a fast-paced environment and can safely lift heavy loads around 35kg
