A busy multi-practitioner family practice in Langley is seeking a highly organized, efficient, and motivated MOA to join their team and work alongside their friendly staff.
This position is full-time Monday - Friday.
Experience with Profile EMR, ICBC, WCB an MSP is an asset.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Medical Office environment and will excel in:
- Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, patients and external agencies
- Health administrative practices and the ability to adhere to organization policies, procedures and systems
- Computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and EMR
- Prioritizing tasks and and maintaining strong organizational skills
- Taking initiative while exercising sound judgement and problem solving
- Researching and compiling data reports as required
MOA Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Answering telephone calls, voicemails, emails
- Educating patients about clinic procedures
- EMR and task management/updating medical records
- Ensuring daily paperwork is completed (scans, TCIs, referrals...)
- Triage patients over the phone using protocol
- Assisting patients to exam rooms and setting up procedure trays as needed
- Taking patient vitals, including pediatric and infant height/weight
- Notifying patients when lab results are available
- Opening and closing the clinic
- Faxing referrals
- Scheduling patient appointments

Salary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
