Joel J.W.G. Szaefer Professional Corporation is a local law firm of family and divorce lawyers seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to manage the front desk of our law firm.
Responsibilities Include:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary
- Provide general administrative support, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for the lawyers in the office
- Assist with organizing and coordinating meetings and events
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times
- Doing the "bank runs" on behalf of the firm
The following traits are an asset for this position:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using computerized systems for data entry, scheduling, and other administrative tasks
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork and documents
- A sense of humour
