If you are a curious person, with a drive for spending your time scrolling through Social Media platforms, come put your Social Media skills to work.
In this permanent role as a Social Media Researcher and Surveillance Coordinatorin the Investigative Services Unit (ISU), you will use your skills and curiosity to research Social Media sites to complete assignments, manage and transcribe data and collaborate with our surveillance team.
As a Social Media Researcher and Surveillance Coordinator you will have the opportunity to work with a small, dynamic, highly collaborative team. The successful candidate will bring experience in claims, has an inquisitive mindset and ability to embrace change.
We are a hybrid company with office locations either Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.
This role will give you the chance to:
- Research various Social Media sites and prepare reports on your findings for assignments referred to the ISU by our claims teams.
- Work closely with our adjusters and Surveillance specialists to tailor our products to their needs.
- Track and update logs and spreadsheets
- Schedule surveillance assignments for all surveillance specialists in the unit
- Complete other administrative duties as required.
- Drive workflow changes and process improvements.
- Develop unique and outside the box solutions to investigations.
What you bring to the table:
- 2 years claims experience within the Property and Casualty Insurance industry
- Experience navigating Social Media platforms, Google Maps and a familiarity with advanced internet search techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, create macros and ability to create schedules for individuals
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and decision-making skills; inquisitive by nature and the ability to multitask
- Capable of working with highly confidential material and information
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to embrace change.
