DESCRIPTION
THL is seeking a full-time detail-oriented Accounts Payable clerk, who possesses good written and verbal communication skills to join our Finance Team!
The role will be primarily remote although occasional in-office presence at our Santa Fe Springs office may be required on an as-needed basis.
SCOPE
Interactions with:
Internally: USA Group Controller, Assistant Controller, AR Team, AP Team, General Managers, Branch Managers, DMV Licensing.
Externally: Banks, External Auditors, Vendors
REQUIREMENTS
Key Criteria:
· 1-2 years Accounts Payable experience
· Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
· Ability to work well in a team
· Hard working, efficient and great attention to detail
· Able to learn new and old computer systems
· Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize and plan efficiently
· Analytical skills in basic Accounts Payable and working knowledge of accounting
· Ability to multitask
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
· Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
· Reconciling company credit cards
· Filing on an as needed basis
· Other general office duties
· Participating in day-to-day accounting and operational functions
· Communicate with Vendors to resolve invoice payment issues
· Create new Vendor accounts in software & obtain W9’s
· Assist management with any assignments on an as needed basis
· Communicate with PO creators to solve issues with problem invoices

Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
