Accounts Payable Administrator

Mader Mining is growing and in need of a full-time Accounts Payable Administrator to support our team in Calgary AB.

Note: This is an office-based role, working Monday to Friday.

Core Duties:

• Process invoices for all payables in our accounting system.
• Ensure accurate coding and obtain timely approvals for invoice processing.
• Manage scheduled EFT runs to facilitate timely payments, as required.
• Maintain an organized AP filing system and facilitate setup of new vendors.
• Address and resolve issues with external vendors and internal departments to minimize late fees on payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Upload credit card transactions into accounting system and reconcile to statements

Desired Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least one year of Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
• Thorough understanding of the invoice approval process and its application to Accounts Payable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extraordinary team player and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated and results-driven with the capacity to get things done.
