Reporting to the Director of HR, the HR Administrator will provide day-to-day support with recruitment, onboarding, health and safety, HRIS updates, and other related HR activities and initiatives. The primary focus of this role will be the full recruitment cycle. This is a contract position until October 30, 2024.
Recruitment
- Provide recruitment related support including job posting, pre-screening interviews, completion of employment verification/ criminal checks, generating employment agreements, providing payroll with all new hire documents
- Facilitate new employee onboarding (i.e. facility tours/intros, collect all relevant new employee documentation, review of policies/procedures, safety overview).
- Generating employment contracts through BambooHR
- Facilitate new employee onboarding (including facility tours, review of time recording procedures etc.)
Administration
- Provide support in functional areas of the HR Dept including maintaining and updating records related to Human Resources.
- Maintain updates on BambooHR Platform
- Assist with policy writing and creation of job descriptions
- Respond to routine inquiries by employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and Payroll matters.
- Provide general administrative and/or analytical support
- Complete special projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary graduate of a Human Resources, Business or relevant field
- 1-2 years of work experience in a human resources role, specifically in recruitment
- Experience with BambooHR platform an asset
- Proficient with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook
