About the Position

Summary of Responsibilities
- Completion of audit, review with a large emphasis on compilation/ NTR files and related tax preparation.
- Builds effective working relationships in assignments with operational client contacts.
- Responds effectively to client requests.
- Provides suggestions related to an assignment or project.
- In house assignments such as accounting research or office administration
Summary of Experience
- Preferred 1 Co-Op term experience related to accounting and assurance
- 1 year of customer service experience
Requirements:
- Completion of a University Accounting degree
- Working towards obtaining their Canadian CPA designation.
- Basic understanding of IFRS, ASPE, CAS and Canadian Tax
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with external clients.
- Possess strong project management skills and organization, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience working with accounting and tax software such as Quickbooks, Caseware, Jazz-it, Tax Prep and Simply Accounting
