Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting our financial operations. You will work closely with the Senior Accountants and management to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions, record-keeping, and reporting. Your responsibilities will include assisting in various financial activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial analysis.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for processing intercompany invoices
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes in a timely manner.
• Generate customer invoices and manage invoice records.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate records of customer invoices and payments.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
• Assist with reconciling bank statements.
• Post cash receipts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Assist with financial reports and statements as needed.
• Assist in the analysis of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of departmental budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
• Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain organized and complete financial records.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of all accounting transactions.
• Participate in financial projects and tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in the same or similar role.
• Working towards CPA or similar certification preferred.
• Experience using Quickbooks Online.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Advanced understanding of Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.

Pay: $36,290.29-$59,577.86 per year
