Project Administrator

***This position is located in Kitimat, BC. and is open to locals of Terrace and Kitimat only***
WSG Energy Services is currently looking for a Project Administrator to join our team. If you are an ambitious, strong individual that likes a challenge, this could be the opportunity for you. We are a fast-paced construction company and have a position that is demanding but rewarding.
Under the general supervision of the Project Manager, you will provide project support to the project team.
Shift is 14/7 rotation on LNGC site for JFJV 10 hour shift

• Must comply and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Candidates must successfully complete orientation

Responsibilities include:

• Set-up and monitor project paperwork and organize paper flow;
• Prepare and track all project logs such as PO’s, RFI’s, Change Order’s;
• Submit LEM's in a timely manner to ensure charges are submitted
• Utilize reports to monitor project succession;
• Schedule orientations, flights and accommodations for fly-in fly-out workers
• Prepare and monitor sub-contracts
• Prepares and schedules project meetings including minutes
• Assist Project Manager in any and all duties needed;

Qualifications:

• Prior Project Administration experience is an asset
• Post-Secondary education in Office Administration, Business or Project Management
• Experience working in the construction industry is an asset
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Superior keyboarding and data entry skills with WPM of 40 or higher
• Proven team player
• Strong analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Minimum 5 years professional work experience

Computer Skills

• Mandatory MS Office
• Preferred MS Project and Jonas software experience as well
