Job description

We are looking for a full time Medical Office Assistant to add to our Chiropractic & Wellness Clinic.

We are looking for a reliable individual whose passion for helping others shows in their care to patients. They must be able to handle the pressure of a busy clinic and can meet the demands of the patients and their families. The opportunity is best suited to a team player that is self-motivated, reliable, honest and interested in growing with the clinic. This opportunity is for someone who wants to work with a high energy and positive multidisciplinary team. Computer skills and Top Client Care are a must.

Job responsibilities: Communicating with patients, answering the phone, bookings, billings, ICBC & WCB claims, and so much more. Must be good with electronics. Customer service experience-Strong organizational skills-Excellent written and verbal communication skills-Able to work independently and with minimal supervision-Proficient computer skills-Experience with the Jane App and Previous Medical Office Assistant training is an asset, but not necessary as the right candidate can be trained in house.

Our office is in the Pandosy Village area of the lower mission, and a short walk to the beach.

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Coordinate meetings and conference room bookings
- Provide support to other staff members as needed

Skills:
- Proficient in computer skills, including knowledge of Canva and Social Media
- Experience working as a receptionist or in a dental office is a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and basic accounting principles
