Your day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Operation of multi-line switchboard, manage boardroom bookings and office calendars
- Provide administrative support to various departments including Accounts Payable, Human Resources and Marketing
- Direct incoming calls and emails during office hours, including message taking and referring callers to other staff when necessary
- Greet visitors, answering basic inquiries pertaining to company services and/or referring questions to appropriate staff
- Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, issuing visitor badges
- Distribution of daily incoming mail and faxes; process and ship outgoing mail
- Ensure the kitchen and reception area are kept clean and organized
- Monitor and manage office supplies
What you bring:
- 1-3 years of reception/administration experience
- College diploma or certificate in admin, business, accounting, or related field is an asset
- Previous experience in accounts payable, human resources or marketing is an asset
- Strong knowledge of office administration and ability to work with all levels of an organization
- Experience with JD Edwards would be an asset
- Experience with 3CX HUD telephone system would be an asset
- Proficient in desktop applications, data entry and reporting
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, communication and written skills
- Exceptional organization skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong team player, with a positive mind set and can-do attitude
- Previous experience: Administration, reception, receptionist, office admin, construction, administrative assistant, clerk, data entry
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software
- A strong willingness to learn and grow
- Investment in a safety-oriented work environment
- Skills Assessment and Successful background check will be required
- Please note we are located in Nisku, no public transportation is available
