JOB OVERVIEW
Harbour City Kitchens Inc. is in search of a friendly and outgoing Receptionist to join our team and be the first point of contact for our visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, proactive, be able to multitask, and possess a friendly and professional demeanor. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting visitors, providing general administrative support, and other day-to-day office duties. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Customer Service
- Meet and greet all walk-in clients
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager and other staff members as required.
- Scan paperwork into the system
- Maintain accurate records and financial transactions.
- Keeping the showroom clean
- Keeping the kitchen and coffee bar clean and stocked
- Invoicing
- Mail/Packages (in and out)
- Maintain stock for samples
- Process monthly supply orders (shop & office supplies)
- Repairing drawers (drawer clips)
- Order monthly Employee Appreciation lunch
- Social Media (being active on Facebook/Instagram and posting 2+ times a week as well as making the odd Instagram story)
- Perform other duties as assigned

As a Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturing Receptionist, you will contribute to our continuous effort to improve our manufacturing processes, learn from industry professionals, and make a meaningful impact on our operations.
QUALIFICATION MUST HAVE
- High school diploma
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Outgoing personality and demeanor
- Proactive and organized work ethic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Skills with Canva or various Social Media platforms considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
QUALIFICATION NICE TO HAVE
- Receptionist experience
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment
- Experience working in a Microsoft office environment
COMPENSATION
- $19 - $24/hr depending on experience
