HR Generalist

In this role, you will be supporting full-cycle recruiting processes to fulfill salaried, contract and student resource needs. You will engage with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to find the right talent to support our business. You will utilize your HR expertise, communication skills and organizational abilities in a dynamic work environment.
Key Job Elements
- Utilize HR software to manage confidential employee information
- Organize and manage electronic files
- Support the HR team with administrative tasks
- Write and review company policies to ensure they are current
- Assist with Talent Acquisition and Talent Development programs and initiatives
- Gather and analyze useful HR metrics
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial labour regulations
- Enhance job satisfaction by conducting surveys and other information gathering tactics
Required Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma, or working towards it
- Understanding of confidentiality concerning HR matters
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work as a team member
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Intermediate skill level in MS office applications
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Some previous experience within Human Resources Management
- Experience with writing policies
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
