Description
We are in search of a motivated individual with exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills to join our growing team working 32 - 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be supporting our Managing Accountant and collaborating as part of the wider finance team to work on various projects. This is a remote position with preferred applicants residing in Alberta or Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable
- High volume Accounts Payables
- Vendor setup/management/payments
- Daily and monthly balancing & journal entries
- Regular communication with remote internal offices and teams as needed to meet deadlines with accuracy
- Ongoing collaboration and assessment of workflow efficiencies and processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Critical thinking and analytical approach for reviewing financials and resolving discrepancies
- Comfortable and skilled at handling high volume transactions
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years full-cycle bookkeeping experience with multiple corporate entities and locations
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- A post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in accounting or other related fields of finance is considered an asset
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required
