Accounts Receivable Clerk

O.N.E. Transport Group is a parent company to Overnight Expedite, Blackdog Express, and T.W.O. Distribution. We handle rush delivery of packages and parcels, provide warehousing services, pick and pack order fulfillment, logistics, and inventory management for bulk materials. O.N.E. Transport Group is looking for a full-time, on-site Accounts Receivable Clerk located in Calgary, AB.

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for:
- Processing Accounts Receivable transactions, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer accounts and records
- Conduct account analysis to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving any billing-related concerns
- Perform data entry tasks to update financial records and maintain documentation

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and account analysis
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of financial services principles, including Accounts Receivable and accounts payable processes
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively - High school diploma or equivalent is required, associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Accounts receivable: 1 year (preferred)
