Accounts Receivable/Collections Clerk

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable/Administrative Assistant to work with our finance team. This individual will be self-motivated and highly organized, with great attention to detail.

Responsibilities include:

• Post account payments.
• Run monthly statements.
• Perform and manage collection calls on overdue accounts. Make payment arrangements for outstanding accounts.
• Communicate overdue accounts to management.
• Mail customer invoices in a timely manner. Follow up on individual requests.
• Review and complete credit applications for charge accounts.
• Prepare head office bank deposit and make the daily bank deposit.
• Answer and direct main telephone line.
• Other administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

• Completion of an Accounting or Business program preferred.
• Minimum three years experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including competency related to MS Windows based applications.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $48,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
