Under the direction of the Director of Accounting, the Accounts Receivable/Credit & Collections is responsible for ensuring that amounts due to the company are current. This is a part-time position for approximately 20 hours per week.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage collection efforts and call for overdue receivables.
- Analyze accounts and prepare reconciliations.
- Respond to and resolve account inquiries.
- Update and maintain overdue Accounts Receivable reports.
- Create journal entries when required.
- Provide monthly reporting to management.
- Employees may work remotely on a permanent or temporary basis.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in credit and collections.
- High school diploma is required.
- Strong computer skills including Excel and Outlook.
- Fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication, is required.
- Fluent in French with proven competencies in verbal and written communication, is an asset.
