Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to:
- Bank reconciliation
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Helping with paperwork and filing
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with the bookkeeper to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
Qualifications:
- Experience as an Assistant Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using accounting software Sage
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
- Can be a University or College student taking accounting or bookeeping
