Job Description:
Position Overview:As the Bookkeeper and Office Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient management of financial transactions, accurate bookkeeping, and the overall operations of inventory. This role demands a meticulous individual with a strong financial acumen and a proactive approach to office management.
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using industry-standard accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and other financial documents regularly.
- Settle month end financials as well as cash totals.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Financial Analysis:
- Assist in financial analysis to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Identify trends, variances, and potential areas for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Office Administration:
- Oversee general office operations, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
- Streamline administrative processes to enhance overall efficiency.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Compliance:
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.
- Assist in the preparation for financial audits.
- Staff Coordination:
- Order uniforms for staff and deduct balance from pay stubs.
- Organize staff benefits.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma or the equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Valid Driver’s license and References.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Independent problem solving.
