Our client in Cambridge is looking for experienced, service-minded individuals to fill evening shifts through the week as Customer Service/Dispatchers!
This is a 2 month contract working evenings, 2:00pm to 10:00pm, Mon to Friday! Hourly rate at $18.50/hour! MUST be able to work 40 hours!
As a Customer Service/ dispatcher for this employer, you would be responsible for taking calls from clients, determining the necessary service logistics, communicating, scheduling service agents, completing project reports, and assist internal and external stakeholders in the successful delivery and execution of security-related services.
Job Functions:
Answer calls from partners and assist with the dispatch, scheduling, and reporting of requested services using radio consoles, telephones and computer systems
Coordinate services and operational and administrative support needs
Manage and communicate the associated workflows, assignment expectations to all parties involved, as needed
Data entry, tracking and reporting on outcomes and other metrics assigned from multiple computer systems
Draft incident reports based upon events.
Handle and prioritize emergency and non-emergency requests for assistance and respond accordingly
Process and maintain a wide variety of files, logs, reports, and forms (soft and hard copy)
Maintain in-depth knowledge of and adhere to the emergency procedures, dispatching procedures, and executive response procedures.
Support all department and Company goals and objectives
Maintain the highest level of professional appearance and demeanor
All other duties, as assigned
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience in Customer Service, dispatch and/or security related experience
Client service and team focused
Sound judgment and decision-making ability
Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Able to manage multiple tasks/projects with competing deadlines and priorities with little or no supervision.
Effective written and verbal skills at all levels
Attentive to detail
Able to adapt as the external environment as the organization evolves
Computer skills; Microsoft Office
Excellent phone skills and ability to comprehend and execute new operational technologies placed within the workspace
