Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and maintain the physician's calender
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a prompt manner
- Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Provide administrative support to the other healthcare professionals within the clinic
Skills:
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Experience with Accuro or MedAccess preferred
- Experience working in a Medical Office setting preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Looking for a mature, friendly Medical Office Assistant who has experience working in a medical setting. This job involves answering phones, arranging appointments, faxing, filing, working with medical software (EMR, ACCURO), communicating with patients effectively, and responding to the needs of the medical practice.
Must be a team player, organized, punctual, reliable and friendly. COVID-19 vaccinated.
Salary will be based on experience.
