What You’ll Do
- Process Vendor statement reconciliations; new vendor setup, vendor liaison
- Interact with others under varying circumstances, including situations of a highly sensitive nature
- Provide administrative support for all A/P functions
- Post A/P invoices - verify coding, accuracy, and approval in a timely manner
- Check PO process and follow-up
- Create and assemble digital cheque packages, perform cheque runs, EFT/Etransfers
- Assist with Cabana retail store support - PO's, receiving
- Cost Savings investigation
- Warranty AR credit note processing
- Maintain an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation for all activities
- Ensure that all month-end financial duties and resulting financial reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Organize filing of all appropriate documents electronically
- Reconcile Accounts Payable Subledger and transactions as required.
- All other duties as assigned
What We’d Like From You
- Accounts payable experience preferred
- Business or accounting degree or diploma preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related experience required (marina or vehicle dealership an asset)
- Previous experience in accounting software required
