Front Desk Receptionist

Acupoint Wellness is a boutique wellness centre located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Rooted in tradition and adapted for modern life, we use Acupuncture and other holistic practices such as Osteopathy, Registered Massage Therapy and Naturopathic Medicine to help support our clients to feel good and restore balance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Acupoint Wellness is seeking a Casual Weekend Host to support with duties including:

• Answer emails, voice messages and phone calls in a timely and courteous manner
• Schedule clients and process payments, including direct billing using Jane App
• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner in the front lobby (on weekends, the host is required to meet patients in the building’s main lobby and escort them up to our clinic as elevators are locked)
• Ensure tidiness of the clinic is maintained throughout the day
• Assist practitioners with requests as needed

HOURS
Weekend Host hours vary between 4-6 hours per day on Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 10:00 am. Hours will vary depending on the number of scheduled clients at the clinic. Additional daytime hours can be added to the successful candidates should it suit their schedule.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This position would be great for students who are currently working towards becoming a practitioner.

• Experience in and passion for client-focused customer service
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Creative by nature and enjoys creating social media posts on Instagram and Facebook
• Independent problem solver, detail oriented and ability to multitask
• Familiarity with medical office management software such as Jane app a strong asset

COMPENSATION
$18-21/hour to start depending on experience
