Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact at the Front Desk, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental office and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Full time schedule 7am-3pm.

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the Front Desk area
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Maintain patient records, including updating personal information and insurance details
- Assist with billing and invoicing using computerized systems like QuickBooks
- File and organize paperwork, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure efficient workflow
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

- Previous experience working as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology is highly desirable
- Proficient in using computerized systems for appointment scheduling, billing, and record keeping
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.88-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
