The Marketing and Office Coordinator role is a dynamic position that encompasses both marketing initiatives and front office operations for the award winning Red Deer Express Employment and Express Healthcare Professionals franchise! This individual will work closely with the franchise owners and various internal teams, including sales, recruiting, and administrative staff, to bolster brand presence and streamline office management. The role will start a 1-year term, with the possibility of evolving into a long-term, permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office Coordination
1. Cultivate a welcoming environment for all inquiries, whether in-person, via telephone, or electronic communication.
2. Efficiently manage applicant flow, support recruiting activities, and ensure prompt interview scheduling.
3. Undertake office administration tasks, including but not limited to data entry, correspondence, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
4. Assist the office team including payroll processes and document preparation for ROE’s, letters of employment and other relevant duties as needed.
Marketing and Advertising Coordination/Management
1. Formulate and execute marketing, advertising, and communications strategies to develop the local brand and aid sales and recruitment efforts.
2. Act as the primary liaison for advertising and marketing vendors, overseeing contracts and monitoring ROI using the Ad Cost Analysis tool.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely updates to the local website, focusing on content and design to optimize search engine visibility.
Social Media Engagement and Management
1. Manage social media platforms daily, implementing strategies and content tailored to the local market.
2. Stay abreast of trending topics, creating appropriate and timely responses or campaigns.
3. Produce monthly social media reports to assess the effectiveness and engagement levels of campaigns.
Marketing Automation
1. Employ Express automated marketing tools to disseminate marketing emails, white papers, and media relations materials.
2. Regularly update email marketing lists with details of clients, applicants, and associates.
Community Relations and Event Sponsorships
1. Coordinate and manage partnerships with charitable organizations and actively participate in local business groups.
2. Plan and support local event sponsorships, including job fairs and community-related activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of work-related experience in an office related or marketing related position.
- College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with an emphasis on customer service and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, digital marketing, social media management, and Office administration.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing a variety of tasks and projects concurrently.

Compensation
- Starting salary range of $40,000 to $45,000 per year, commensurate with skills and experience.
- Eligibility for a benefits program upon successful completion of the probationary period.
