We are currently seeking a motivated, responsible Project Administrator to join our growing team! The Project Administrator primary function will be to collaborate with the Engineering and Project Management team with various projects. The successful candidate will perform administrative duties and ensure the teams have the appropriate data and support to manage projects.
Main Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Provide administrative support to the Engineering Department.
- Support Management by organizing and following up with the appropriate projects and daily tasks.
- Assist with releasing and printing drawings, procedures, and other technical documents
- Work with various departments to determine resourcing for projects, including managing the MSP resource pool and top-level resource planning.
- Attend internal and external design review meetings and take notes Check Bills of Materials for accuracy.
- Assist Project Manager's in the preparation of various project reports to demonstrate project status.
- Manage and communicate comprehensive scheduling status across projects to departments involved.
- Manage the Visual engineering master and create the Visual project structure for each new project.
- Assist with the change management and NCR processes through Infor Visual and communication with departments involved in changes.
- Assist PMO and company with improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain detailed variance reports, comparing actual and budgeted costs for all projects.
- Create ad hoc- reports for PM and other departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with VBA would be considered an asset.
- Diploma/Certificate in a technical field or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Acceptable technology skills with computers and Microsoft Suite programs (Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Projects) and ERP Systems, preference for Visual Manufacturing.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is an asset
- Demonstrate competence in Creativity, Innovation, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Organization and Planning.
- Written and oral communication in English.
