Liberty Tax New Westminster is looking for the newest team member to join our busy tax office. The ideal candidate should be dependable, professional, and well-versed in client interface.
A great seasonal position for those retired or looking to earn some extra money. Candidates will be trained for the upcoming tax season.
Responsibilities include:
- Greets customers in office and determine their service needs.
- Answers incoming phone calls, answer inquiries or refers them to the individual who can assist.
- Schedules appointments for customers on the phone and in person.
- Accept client payments by cash or card accurately.
- Performs office duties such as monitoring and responding to customer emails, scanning documents, filing, and other general office duties.
- Maintains the office cleanliness and appearance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year office experience.
- Must be proficient with using Microsoft office software and experience in a tax office or with tax software considered a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to effectively communicate in person, on the phone, and through email in the English language.
- Friendly and professional.
- Excels in busy office environment with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, as required.
