As a Talent Management Application Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding the functionality, configuration, and complexity of the Talent Management System which includes the performance development, succession management, and learning management modules. You will work closely with Information Technology on the integration with PeopleSoft and to maintain the system in alignment with corporate needs. Primary duties include:
- Promote and enable system use by all employees, including addressing service wide specific concerns and configuring custom solutions.
- Collaborate with interested parties, vendors, clients, and other partners to ensure continued integration of the Talent Management system and support an effective change management approach.
- Lead, engage, and maintain networks of corporate advocates
- Support members, employees, leaders, and the learning and development community with troubleshooting and resolving system and data issues.
- Set-up and maintain system components, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the system is kept up-to-date in alignment with software releases from the vendor.
- Create and maintain documentation such as standard system operating procedures, eLearning, and quick reference guides and develop and deliver in-person training for users.
- Determine, create, and run standard reporting requirements and provide system data based on the needs of interested parties.
- Audit system access and use to ensure corporate standards are met and maintained.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in human resources or information technology.
- Experience must include system maintenance and configuration.
- Previous experience working with Talent Management Systems and/or Learning Management Systems along with experience with change management and with facilitating and delivering training will be considered assets.
- Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) will also be considered assets.
- Success in this position requires analytical thinking, change management, coaching and development and efficiency and thoroughness. An effective communicator with a focus on results and the ability build strong relationships.
