SalaryNest Dental is a newly opened state of the art general dentist office on Fraser street in Vancouver, BC. We are looking for an experienced receptionist to join our growing team. Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience as a dental receptionist and must know how to process dental insurance claims. This is a full time position with evenings and weekend availability required.
Duties
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the Front Desk area
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology is a plus
- Strong customer support skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in proofreading documents for accuracy
- Familiarity with office equipment and basic computer skills
- Experience with data entry
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
