Medical Receptionist – Family Practice Office in Mississauga

Location : near intersection of Hurontario and Queensway

-seeking part-time position: 15-21 hours/ week- Monday to Friday, 1-2 Saturdays per month

-preference will be given to candidates who have a commuting distance within 10 km of our location

Job Description:

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Scheduling of appointments using EMR software
• Greeting and registering patients
• Making and receiving phone calls
• Processing specialist referrals
• Filing/ faxing/scanning/photocopying
• Invoicing and processing payments to third parties

Qualifications:

• Excellent English communication skill – oral and written
• Great customer service skills
• Excellent internet literacy with proficient typing abilities
• EMR software experience is an asset

Salary – $16.55/ hour
