Job Description: Medical Receptionist - Full Time

We are currently looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to join growing healthcare organization and build their career.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and schedule the treatment and assessment of our patients.
- Communicate with patients directly to determine specific scheduling requirements.
- Ensure scheduling continuity is maintained for each patient.
- Resolve day-to-day clinic scheduling problems in a timely fashion.
- Report patient scheduling changes to the HealthMax team.
- Ensuring a positive patient and family experience by effectively scheduling direct care providers in the community to meet the requirements of patient care plans.
- Participate in patient satisfaction inittiatives.
- Provide an amazing patient experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Amazing communication both verbal and written
- Performance oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good keyboarding skills, within minimum typing speed of 40 WPM. computer proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge in Telus billing is an asset.
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling high call volumes
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.55-$21.28 per hour
Schedule:
- Weekends as needed
