SalaryWe are seeking a lead receptionist or Optometric Assistant to become part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical duties to keep the medical team running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
Handle all administrative duties including booking appointments, checking patients in, verifying OHIP, billing insurance companies, managing emails, purchasing supplies
Support medical staff by doing pre-testing, arranging referrals, help with glasses sales
Communicate with patients
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an optometrist or medical office an asset
Experience with ifile an asset
Strong computer skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent people skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
