Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and providing administrative support to the medical staff. Hours of Operations are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Arabic speaking/understanding is an asset. Previous Experience and Knowledge with Accuro Software is Essential for this position.

Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related questions
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Experience
- Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
