Medical Receptionist

A Pediatrician affiliated with Five Counties Children's Centre is currently seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, detail oriented Medical Receptionist to join his busy, fast-paced pediatric clinic.

PLEASE NOTE: This position will be an employee of the Pediatrician, not an employee of Five Counties Children's Centre

He is looking for a candidate that is efficient, motivated and possesses excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills with previous experience in a medical office.

The successful candidate must have:

• Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team at Five Counties Children's Centre
• Experience using EMR (Accuro is preferred)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure
• Possessing clinical experience and billing experience are an asset

Job Duties:

• Welcoming patients; putting patients in exam rooms
• Tidying, cleaning and restocking exam rooms as needed
• Receiving and relaying phone calls
• Managing faxes and triaging referrals
• Scheduling and re-scheduling appointments as necessary
• Following up and completing patient tasks
• Ordering office supplies as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (typical schedule)
• Friday 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Salary: To be discussed, based on experience

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 33 per week

• French not required
