Full-Time Medical Secretary/Receptionist

We are looking for a FULL-time Medical Secretary for our medical clinic in North Etobicoke (1770 Albion Road).

This position is ideal for someone looking for their first job in the field and those with years of experience.

We are looking for someone long-term as there is much growth ahead of us, and the potential for the right candidate to even further their career.

A successful candidate is usually the first person that will be interacting with patients when they walk into the clinic and should have the following qualities and qualifications:

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Being able to provide exceptional professional customer service
• Computer skills
• Ability to multitask in an organized manner
• Medical Office Secretary certificate or equivalent is an asset
• Knowledge of EMR (Oscar) software is an asset
• A post-secondary education is an asset
• A full G driver's license is an asset

The main job duties for the Medical Secretary are:

• Perform clerical work in doctor's office
• Organize all medical records and patient files
• Maintain the clinic
• Greeting patients and visitors
• Answering phones
• Scheduling appointments
• Prepare examination rooms
• Ordering supplies

NO prior experience is necessary; we will train the right candidate for the position.

Hours: Mondays to Fridays between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.

Compensation: $ 18 - 22/hour depending on the performance and experience
