Medical Receptionist/Office Admin

Monday Tuesdays and Thursdays –16 to 24 hours/Week ( to be discussed)

(With potential for additional hours in near future)

Description: We are an integrative medical clinic in Ajax, devoted to the delivery of primary care with emphases on functional medicine, hormone therapy and optimal health. We are looking for an exceptional individual who is a team player and follows direction. The successful candidate must assist staff in performing their duties and carrying on the necessary functions required in accordance with established policies and procedures. He or she must also demonstrate the following attributes:

• The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Provide receptionist services including greeting and assisting patients and walking through patient programs
• Answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and making reminder calls to patients
• Processing all walk in patients and renewing their prescriptions
• Unpacking orders and stocking shelves
• Filing
• Mixing tinctures
• Preparing blood work requisitions and mailing them to patients
• Perform other office related duties as required

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of MOA Course
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar organization or naturopathic clinic
• Knowledge of office administration procedures
• Proficiency in MS office
• Effective verbal, listening and effective communications skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Able to work independently and with others
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
