We are looking for a Naturopathic Medical receptionist with medical assisting skills. The Marsden Centre is an integrative Naturopathic Medical clinic that is recognized for it’s highest level of care in Integrative Cancer Care, naturopathic medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Infusion (IV) therapy, Allergy treatments, Mental Health and Trauma Services, with a wing in the clinic offering Chiropractic and Massage Therapy. We also offer premium professional line supplements, and specialized formulations for patients of the Centre.
The successful candidate will be a part of an amazing team of medical professionals who aim to not only lengthen, but improve quality of life and support each individual in living their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Clinic receptionist and administrative support
- Perform ECG, spirometry, BIA, and other in-house lab tests
- Perform venipuncture
- Receiving, labeling and analyzing samples (blood, urine and saliva)
- Execute laboratory testing according standard clinic procedures
- Review/explain specimen collection procedures with patients
- Record all data and results in the EMR (Accuro) with accuracy and responsibility
- Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain aclean and orderly environment
- Support naturopathic doctors in the Infusion Therapy / Treatment suite
