SalaryBrantford Commons Medical Clinic is currently seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, detail oriented Medical Receptionist to join our busy fast paced clinic. We are looking for a candidate that is efficient, motivated and possesses excellent multitasking and problem solving skills with at least 1 years of experience in a Family practice or in a Walk-in Clinic setting.
The successful candidate should have:
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent problem solving skills; ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Having clinical skills or experience (BP checks, urine dips, etc) is an asset.
- Excellent computer proficiency
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to positively interact with patients.
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (Accuro is preferred).
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure.
- Ability to work well individually or in a team environment.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Welcoming patients at the front desk.
- Receiving and relaying phone calls.
- Receiving and relaying faxes.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Handling payments and third party billings.
-Putting patients into the exam rooms.
- Assist the doctors in the exam room.
- Following up & completing patient tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.55-$18.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Medical Secretaries & Patient Registrars: 1 year (preferred)
