Medical Receptionist

NewU Physio is a newly renovated private practice located in the heart of Orleans dedicated to providing exceptional services to their clientele. We are looking for a customer service superstar to work as our part-time Medical Receptionist. The chosen candidate will be responsible for all patient greetings and screening, managing the practitioner’s schedules, answering the phones, managing day to day clinic operations, sending faxes, some cleaning, liaising with other clinics, etc. NewU Physio is a dynamic, busy, and friendly clinic that is fortunate to be part of a health hub. We pride ourselves in boasting a great work environment for our staff! 

Ideal Attributes: 

- Must be Bilingual (Fluent in French and English - oral, written, reading) 

- Team player, strong time management and organizational skills 

- Provide high level of customer service, friendly, calm demeanor.

- Interpersonal skills: attentiveness to detail, professionalism, positive attitude, flexibility, ability to self- regulate 

- Computer literate

- Keyboarding skills: over 45 WPM

- Able to juggle multiple practitioners’ schedules at once and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

- Able to be tactful, discrete and maintain strict confidentiality 

Please note: Previous experience in a medical or rehabilitation clinic or practice is an asset, but not mandatory.

• Thursday from 2:30pm-7pm (up to 8:30pm)

• Opportunity to work extra hours when filling in for staff (holidays or sickness).

• Flexibility to work during the daytime is an asset.
